UNIBEN HALL 2 FIRE FUNDRAISER

University of Benin Alumni Association in America. UBAAA, received a request for assistance from the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Benin, through the Acting Dierector of Alumni Relations, Dr. Obeki Obeki, to repair the damage done to Hall 2 student hostel as a result of a fire incident that occurred on Friday, March 19th, 2024.

In response to the call, UBAAA reached out to its members for donations, and raised a total of 8,092,795.00 naira. The money was remitted to the University, and UBAAA received a letter of appreciation from Professor Lilian Salami, Vice-Chancellor, UNIBEN.
